New reports from New Zealand suggest that Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko has issued an ultimatum to Daniel Ricciardo regarding his future in Formula 1. The Australian driver has been struggling in the first three races of the season, with teammate Yuki Tsunoda outperforming him except for a race in Bahrain where Ricciardo benefited from team orders on an alternate strategy.

Following Tsunoda’s strong performance and points finish in Australia, the NZ Herald reported that Marko has given Ricciardo two more races to improve his results or risk being replaced by Liam Lawson. This has sparked a debate among fans and experts, with some questioning whether it’s time for Ricciardo to step aside and give Lawson a chance in F1.
