NFL fantasy football: Bengals RB Joe Mixon, Bears QB Justin Fields put up bombs

NFL fantasy football owners of Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon and Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields are likely ecstatic after the monster performances put up by these two players on Sunday.

Mixon, 26, scored four rushing touchdowns and caught another to finish the contest with a franchise record for the most TDs (5) in a single game.

He was the RB11 in fantasy football heading into the match against the Carolina Panthers and following his five-touchdown performance, Mixon is now the RB2.

Mixon carried the ball 22 times for 153 yards on the ground, and added 58 yards through the air on four catches.

His historic production was more than enough to lead Cincinnati past Carolina with a 42-21 home victory, and to be the highest-scoring fantasy player of Week 9 with 55 points.

Justin Fields is a top 5 fantasy QB

Fields, 23, was incredible against the Miami Dolphins, but his team still fell by a score of 32-35 at home.

His 42.72 fantasy points lead all quarterbacks and is now among the top five at his position.

Another high-scoring fantasy player was Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams, who caught 10 passes for 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Even though Adams put up 31.60 fantasy points, the Raiders still lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
